I started work at UNCG in August of 2020.  I have been a Research Associate since 1998 and have assisted with online courses since 2012.  I received a BSA in Animal Science from the University of Georgia in 1997 and a Masters in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois in 2002. My research focuses on the ability of diet to influence the development and progression of several forms of cancer.  My hobbies include traveling with my family, hiking, reading, gardening, and quilting.
